Article in LOGISTIK HEUTE on Track&Trace

For years, Arnold has been adapting to the digital transformation and researching new technologies and solutions with partners. With the aim of increasing transparency in the manufacturing area, the metal processing company has been using the indoor localisation system "Track & Trace" from the machine tool manufacturer Trumpf since 2018 and optimising it to its own needs together with them.

The magazine Logistik heute provides interesting insights into the current status at Arnold in issue 3/2021.

30 i-pads for a school

Together with the companies Rennsteig Werkzeuge GmbH, Paatz Viernau GmbH and Hehnke GmbH & Co. KG, Arnold donated a class set of 30 iPads including accessories to the Steinbach-Hallenberg regular school. The handover took place on Friday, 11 June.

Supporting children and young people at our two locations Friedrichsdorf and Steinbach-Hallenberg is very important to us.
Particularly in these days, digital training opportunities are a
basic condition for the future of our young people.

We are pleased that the new iPads will be put to use quickly and that school children from the Regelschule Steinbach-Hallenberg will now be able to find out about training opportunities at Arnold during the virtual "Journey of discovery to the world of work in the Haseltal" from 21 June to 3 July.

All interested kids are invited to visit us.

Ann Reder Sculpture "Communication"

Arnold not only builds sculptures, but also supports artists in the context of art competitions and questions about feasibility and production costs. This was also the case with the Frankfurt artist Ann Reder, who won a competition of the Kulturstiftung Friedrichsdorf in 2016 with her design "Communication"  .

Sculpture by Arik Levy decorates traffic circles in Friedrichsdorf

Today we installed the sculpture "Rock Cube 240" by the artist Arik Levy on the traffic circle at the intersection of Färberstraße/Max-Planck-Straße. It is made of Corten steel and weighs 1840 kilograms. The special feature is that even though the shape does not correspond to a classic cube, each side view shows a square measuring 2.40 meters x 2.40 meters. We invite all art lovers to take a live look at the sculpture.

Arik Levy is represented by the Scheffel Gallery, located in Bad Homburg. He became world famous with his "Rock Pieces". As part of the exhibition Blickachsen 12 (2019) he created a site-specific work entitled "Giant Log" for the Kurpark of Bad Homburg and four of his famous "Rocks" were installed in Kronberg and Frankfurt.
