Trowalizing / vibratory finishing
In the barrel finishing or vibratory finishing process, vibrating grinding wheels act on metallic objects in such a way that they are deburred, rounded, smoothed, polished, matted or ground, depending on the desired result.
The result of the surface treatment varies depending on the machine, sanding time and abrasive used.
Arnold uses circular vibrators that work in circular movements during mass finishing. They can be used as universal vibratory finishing machines for a variety of workpieces and processing objectives. Their applications range from aggressive deburring and edge rounding to high-gloss polishing of highly sensitive workpieces, i.e. from rough pre-grinding to the production of surfaces ready for electroplating.
