Gardening on Park Avenue? Oldenburg makes it possible!
This extraordinary artwork is part of an impressive exhibition showcasing the iconic works of the two artists since November 18, 2024 - the first major show of their work since Oldenburg's death in 2022. The exhibition will run until the fall of 2025 and pays tribute to the duo's visionary work in one of Manhattan's architectural landmarks. Highlights include two monumental sculptures on the outdoor plazas of Lever House, which are clearly visible from Park Avenue. Of particular note is the five-meter-high Plantoir sculpture, which depicts an oversized garden shovel and is placed in the central courtyard next to the iconic Lever House planter. This installation reflects the innovative integration of indoor and outdoor spaces for which the building is known.

Big Apple gets Big Shovel - art that goes deeper!
We are proud that Plantoir Red #3 has now found its final destination and is making a significant contribution to the exhibition. With the completion of all Plantoir Red Mid-Scale Edition sculptures, we have reached an important milestone - but the journey continues. More scoops in different colors and sizes are already in the starting blocks and can be commissioned soon. We would like to thank everyone involved in the new sculptures and in further optimizing the production process. Together we create art that inspires - and makes the world a little more playful and extraordinary!
