"Bear.2" by A.P. Rott Officially Unveiled
Friedrichsdorf, June 25, 2026 – A striking new landmark now marks the roundabout at the intersection of Höhenstraße, Kolberger Straße, and Industriestraße in Friedrichsdorf. Today, "Bear.2," the first publicly accessible sculpture by artist A.P. Rott, was officially unveiled.
The nearly two-meter-tall bear was crafted at Arnold's workshops on nearby Industriestraße. The head and paws were cast in aluminum, while the body was built from numerous individually shaped stainless steel panels.
With "Bear.2," A.P. Rott opens a new chapter in his work. The sculpture is part of his series "Monumental Reflections," which explores the relationships between people, nature, and life in community.
