As a construction mechanic, you will use various hand tools and machines to produce precise workpieces from metals such as steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
With us, you will get to know the material metal and all its special features. After you have successfully tried your hand at metalworking with your hands and tools, you will work with us in various production departments to produce high-quality individual parts and complex metal constructions for mechanical engineering, railroad and medical technology as well as for mega yachts and works of art. Your dexterity is particularly in demand when it comes to welding, as we will teach you all the common processes.
Find out how to combine classic production processes such as CNC bending and turning with modern technologies such as lasers and 3D metal printing. If you like variety and have a knack for challenging tasks, you can also discover 3D sheet metal forming in the art sector or exciting areas of application at our branch in Thuringia or go on (inter)national assembly trips. It's up to you how much you take away from the up to 3.5 years of training. Start your future now!

What you need for this apprenticeship
You love working with your hands - whether it's in handicraft lessons, screwing mopeds or assembling furniture. Your good spatial imagination helps you to put the information from instructions and sketches into practice. You quickly get to grips with new products and come up with your own ideas to make them even better. By the way: Black hands can be washed, so be brave and get inspired by metal!
